Job Description

As a High Voltage Test Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for high voltage

laboratory testing, oversee electrical cable testing, develop test procedures and reports,

and support the reliability, accuracy, and continuous improvement of laboratory testing

processes. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

    Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical testing within a manufacturing
    environment
    Preferred Education and Experience
  • High voltage systems experience preferred

    including familiarity with standardization organizations and regulatory bodies
    related to high voltage cables and accessories

    Essential Functions

  • Ensure all cables undergo electrical testing during production and again before
  • Guarantee every cable is electrically tested during manufacturing and prior to
  • Prepare and issue detailed test plans and final test reports for customer orders and
  • Perform electrical cable testing, including impulse testing, HVAC testing, HVDC
    testing, PD testing, capacitance testing, loss factor testing, and DC jacket testing
  • Perform additional selected mechanical and physical evaluations on cable samples
Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical testing within a manufacturing
    environment
