Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Sales Engineer - SCADA / Controls (Wastewater Focus) - Nashville, TN Join an established leader in industrial automation and controls solutions serving the wastewater and utilities sector. This is a high-impact opportunity for a driven sales engineer to grow business in a stable, expanding market while working alongside technical experts in a supportive environment. Sales Engineer Benefits & Compensation Base salary of $90,000-$110,000 Uncapped commission structure with significant earning potential Strong long-term growth and advancement opportunities Supportive team culture within a respected industry organization Sales Engineer Requirements & Qualifications 3-7+ years of technical sales or sales engineering experience in industrial automation or controls Background selling into wastewater, utilities, or industrial environments Familiarity with SCADA systems and PLCs/controls systems Proven success generating and closing new business in target markets Existing client relationships within wastewater, utilities, or industrial sectors strongly preferred Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills Ability to independently manage a regional territory and sales pipeline Sales Engineer Preferred Background & Skills Controls engineering or systems integration experience Experience with project-based or solution-based technical sales Established network or past client base within target industries Sales Engineer Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop and expand business within the wastewater, utility, and industrial markets Proactively generate sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals Build strong relationships with engineers, plant managers, operations leaders, and key decision-makers Manage the entire sales process from lead qualification through project close Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver solutions aligned with customer needs Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reports Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings This role is ideal for candidates passionate about technical solution sales with a proven background in controls, SCADA, and industrial environments. Candidates without relevant experience in these sectors will not be considered.
