Job Description

Job Description Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support facility design and power system engineering activities at the facility. This individual will help drive the closure of engineering change requests for configuration-managed systems that have been returned to service and require documentation updates. Responsibilities include reviewing change requests, identifying affected engineering documents, performing field walkdowns, validating installed changes, preparing redline markups, coordinating with drafting personnel, and verifying that configuration-managed documents accurately reflect implemented work. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience. Experience developing electrical design packages and design outputs. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering codes and standards, including NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). Experience reviewing engineering change requests, configuration management documentation, and design modifications. Ability to perform field walkdowns and validate completed installation work. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, operations, and production teams. Ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance. Active DOE Q Clearance. Experience in a DOE or NRC-regulated environment. Understanding of Conduct of Engineering and Conduct of Operations within nuclear facilities. Experience supporting configuration-managed systems. Familiarity with engineering document control, redline markups, and drafting processes.
