Job Description
Job Description We are seeking an Entry‑Level Engineer to support power distribution design projects for utility and energy clients. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate who is eager to learn distribution design, field data collection, utility standards, and project coordination while working alongside experienced engineers and designers. You will assist in developing construction‑ready design packages for overhead and underground distribution systems and support both office and field activities. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing distribution engineering design packages, drawings, and documentation Support field investigations, site walks, measurements, and as‑built updates Use power distribution software such as Katapult, Distribution Design Studio (DDS), and similar tools Apply utility standards, design guidelines, and basic NESC requirements Prepare material lists, staking sheets, and project documentation Coordinate with designers, senior engineers, and project managers to resolve design questions Maintain accurate records, notes, and field photos for project files Support permitting, easement reviews, and right‑of‑way documentation Participate in training and mentorship to grow technical engineering skills We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
