Manufacturing Engineer - Power Distribution Equipment ilocatum - 5.0 Denton, TX Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $125,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications CAD software Microsoft Excel Schematics Design of manufacturing processes ERP systems Engineering process optimization Design for manufacturability (DFM) Manufacturing engineering Manufacturing company experience New product launch experience Full Job Description Manufacturing Engineer Denton, TX Must-Haves (Required Experience) 5-8 years of manufacturing engineering experience with strong shop floor presence Background in electrical or electromechanical manufacturing (wire routing, terminations, components, schematics) Proven ownership of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Experience with facility layout, production flow optimization, and capital equipment justification Hands-on Lean manufacturing experience (value stream mapping, line balancing, flow optimization) Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and BOMs Proficiency with ERP systems, AutoCAD, and advanced Excel Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent The Opportunity Join a fast-growing manufacturer of UL-listed switchboards, control panels, and power distribution systems supporting AI and data center infrastructure. As a Manufacturing Engineer , you will operate at the system level , owning NPI, manufacturability, production flow, and capital strategy. This is a hands-on, floor-driven role — ideal for engineers who want full ownership of processes and the authority to drive real operational change. Key Responsibilities Own the NPI lifecycle from concept through full production release Evaluate designs for manufacturability and develop complete production processes (routing, tooling, validation) Design and optimize facility layouts, workstations, and production flow Specify and implement tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids to improve efficiency and quality Lead root cause analysis on complex production issues and drive corrective actions to closure Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Drafting, Quality, and Production Planning Develop cost-per-unit models and capacity analyses to drive system-level cost reductions Support capital equipment decisions with clear ROI justification What You'll Be Working On Power distribution systems for AI and data center infrastructure UL508A, UL67, and UL891 assemblies High-impact manufacturing processes with direct influence on cost, quality, and throughput Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $100,000 - $125,000 (DOE) Performance bonus: 8-12% annually , tied to NPI and operational results Full benefits package Direct hire, full-time role Why This Role True ownership of NPI and manufacturing systems — not just support High visibility with direct impact on production performance and cost structure Work on complex, real-world electrical systems in a high-growth industry Strong collaboration across engineering, quality, and operations Opportunity to shape processes and infrastructure in a scaling organization This role is best suited for a hands-on manufacturing engineer who thrives in fast-paced production environments and wants to lead from the floor while driving system-level improvements.
