As an IC Systems Engineer, you'll define specs for new integrated circuit product development, demonstrating ROI to leadership through TAM research, competitive landscape analysis, and customer feedback. You'll create/maintain customer-facing datasheets, oversee the spec compliance matrix with input from IC Design/Verification/Radiation Effects/Production Test teams, negotiate specs and trade-offs, meet directly with customers (~monthly) to define new ICs tailored to their needs, and build the business case/pricing for new catalog parts (available to all customers). Also develops reference designs/SPICE models to support product development. Requirements for
Consideration:
Bachelor's/Master's in EE or related field 3-5 years semiconductor systems engineering, space systems, or power system design experience Fundamental IC datasheet fluency — able to read/navigate unfamiliar datasheets and explain electrical characteristics Comfortable being customer-facing (junior-level seat, but must be trusted to represent Apogee to a customer solo eventually)
Plusses:
Radiation effects / radiation-hardened systems background Aerospace and/or defense industry experience (space systems for defense preferred) Familiarity with defense prime processes and new-space ecosystem
ITAR/EAR
export-control awareness, QML/AS9100 familiarity
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
