Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience Must have an active Secret clearance at time of application Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need 5+ years of experience with CAD modeling (Siemens NX preferred) Familiar with common engineering standards (ISO, ASME, Mil Spec, NAS, etc.) Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible to changing direction Proficient written and verbal communication skills when conveying technical content Knowledge of GD&T, materials selection, and manufacturing processes Must have 2+ years of experience leading Mechanical Engineering and/or technical teams Must have mechanical design experience for hypersonic systems, flight systems, and/or missiles Must have experience with systems packaging, sizing, and weight tradeoffs and analysisPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with Flight test vehicle proto-qualification Experience with mechanical ICD development with vendors Experience with Team Center (CPLM) and the Product Definition Package (PDP) release process Experience with theASME Y14.X
suite of engineering drawing standards Experience with requirements management and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) principles Experience performing dynamic and static analysis (NX Motion or ANSYS preferred)Primary Level Salary Range:
$111,700.00- $167,500.
