Job Description:
As a Development Lead Engineer a typical day might include: Leading and actively participating in product design, development, introduction, and/or supporting activities crossing two or more technical disciplines. Maintaining a detailed understanding of electric power systems and how to protect, monitor and control the power system. Conceiving and developing concepts for new product ideas and enhancements. Lead efforts in providing power engineering support for customers & field application engineers. Serving as technical lead on complex projects. Modeling, teaching and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.Embracing the mindset:

This job might be for you if you have: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in electric power systems, protection practices and philosophies. Excellent technical training, speaking and writing skills. Experience in leading cross-functional product development teams. Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills. Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. You may be a stronger fit for this position if you: Have working knowledge of SEL products. Experience in distribution and reclosing.Location Information:
