Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Design, create, and revise engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Support new product development from concept through manufacturing release, including prototyping and testing.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and resolve drawing discrepancies.
- Identify and implement product enhancements, quality improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Support prototype builds, testing activities, and product validation efforts.
- Provide technical support to Production, Purchasing, Sales, and customers.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional engineering projects.
Qualifications:
Required- 1-3 years of experience in product design, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with BOM management, ECOs, product testing, and revision control.
