We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will drive the development, testing, and enhancement of our recycling equipment products. Your technical expertise will support product innovation, streamline engineering processes, and assist in delivering exceptional solutions to our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of engineering principles, and experience with Solid Works software. . Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems, components and products Able to program PLC's and able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics Conduct engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and fluid flow simulations Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using Solid Works software Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure designs meet performance and safety standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing teams, and project managers Oversee the manufacturing process and provide support for product improvements Conduct research to stay up to date with new technologies and industry advancements Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and company policies Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders Experience Proven experience in product or mechanical engineering within industrial or manufacturing environments Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software Knowledge of materials, mechanics, manufacturing processes and system integration Strong problem-solving and analysis skills Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong project management capabilities to coordinate multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines. A Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering is required, with a minimum of 4 years experience In general, your work environment will be within the office and manufacturing plant. Occasionally, travel may be required for field work, site visits and client meetings
