This role works closely with customers, sales teams, engineering, applications, manufacturing, and marketing to develop competitive technical solutions, support product launches, and address customer application needs. The position requires strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Domestic and international travel is required. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for assigned product lines and assist customers throughout the pre-sale and post-sale process. Work closely with field sales, engineering, and applications teams to understand customer needs and develop effective technical solutions. Evaluate and validate new products and recommend product improvements or modifications. Design and develop modifications to standard products based on customer requirements. Assist with product specifications, product management, and sales and marketing strategies. Develop technical marketing materials, including product datasheets, application articles, presentations, and other sales materials. Research and analyze competitive products and technologies. Provide technical support for seminars, workshops, trade shows, sales meetings, and product launches. Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, sales representatives, engineers, operators, and management. Provide project management support to Engineering and Manufacturing departments. Provide technical information and support to Customer Service. Research and troubleshoot technical issues for both internal and external customers. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience. 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Applications Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience specifying, operating, designing, or maintaining industrial production or automation equipment. Strong technical background, preferably with experience related to industrial equipment or assigned product technologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. CAD experience required; SolidWorks experience preferred. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to engineers, operators, sales teams, and senior management. Strong problem-solving and research skills. Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work independently. Ability to work effectively under pressure and take ownership of responsibilities. Valid U.S. passport and willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally. The successful candidate should have a proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to balance day-to-day responsibilities with longer-term projects. Strong initiative, adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality technical solutions are essential for success in this position.
Pay:
$105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
