We have an immediate opportunity for a L6 Product Development Engineer FA experience in server hardware engineering, motherboard testing, and datacenter platform design. The role focuses on driving CM/ODM execution for NVIDIA server products across design validation, NPI, and volume manufacturing. The engineer will be responsible for reviewing schematics, layouts, and component selections including CPU, GPU, DDR, PCIe, VRM, NIC, and storage subsystems while supporting platform bring-up, functional validation, debugging, and performance tuning. The candidate will also manage manufacturing activities such as factory builds, test planning, yield analysis, quality improvements, and failure root cause investigations to ensure high reliability and production efficiency.
The ideal candidate should hold a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and possess strong expertise in GPU/CPU server platforms, PCIe Gen4/Gen5/Gen6, NVLink, CXL, DDR4/DDR5 memory, storage technologies, VRM/power delivery systems, and thermal management solutions. Hands-on experience with board-level debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers is essential. The role requires close collaboration with BIOS, BMC, firmware, quality, reliability, and supply chain teams to support manufacturability, secure boot, RAS features, GPU enablement, and system readiness during NPI cycles. Strong technical leadership, problem-solving ability, and experience working with ODM/JDM partners in high-performance server environments are highly preferred.
