Industrial Product Development Engineer

Direct Hire Industrial Product Development Engineer to lead automotive engineering projects with a strong focus on production development . This role supports new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, and key corporate initiatives. Ideal candidates bring experience with production machinery , Tier 1 automotive environments , industrial products , construction materials , or automotive electrical motors , and are comfortable traveling throughout North America, including Mexico . US Persons- No Sponsorship for this Direct Hire Opening What You'll Do Lead technical execution for automotive product development projects Plan and manage projects from Phase 0 through Phase 5 Convert customer requirements into clear specifications and test plans Lead DFMEAs and drive engineering risk mitigation Define and support design verification and validation activities Conduct internal design reviews using established design controls Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to product and process design Coordinate with laboratory teams for testing and validation Collaborate with cross-functional automotive teams to strengthen technical capability Support on-time delivery of project, quality, and customer requirements What You Bring Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering Master of Science preferred 5-8 years of product and/or process engineering experience Working knowledge of process engineering techniques and modern manufacturing equipment Experience with automotive development practices, including APQP Strong problem-solving skills grounded in engineering fundamentals Ability to travel within North America, including Mexico , without restrictions #GRP2 Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
