Project Engineer - Direct Hire, Hybrid Opportunity The Project Engineer position is located in Plainville, MA, and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a company that is transitioning to a more cross-functional engineering model. This role is essential for driving product development from concept to production readiness. Salary of the
Project Engineer:
$100,000 - $115,000/yr Responsibilities of the
Project Engineer:
Lead detailed product design from concept handoff through production release using SolidWorks. Apply DFx principles to deliver manufacturable, cost-effective, and production-ready designs. Define and maintain complete product definition, including drawings and BOMs. Execute engineering changes and implement product updates driven by quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement changes and ensure product performance. Qualifications of the
Project Engineer:
Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline. 3-5+ years of experience in mechanical design or engineering change management within a manufacturing environment. Strong SolidWorks experience; Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) is highly desirable. Experience with configurator-driven or multi-variant product structures.
