  • Product Development position is a highly skilled technical role responsible for supporting product development through advanced test engineering activities across multiple products, platforms, and workstreams.
This individual works with little or no supervision and applies broad technical knowledge, sound judgment, and creativity to resolve complex problems, support test execution, and help drive product readiness. In this role, you will work across a range of technical activities, provide mentoring and guidance to others, and collaborate closely with engineering and cross-functional partners on high-impact and customer-related projects. This position also requires the ability to anticipate change, adjust priorities, and help ensure test activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and with a strong focus on quality.
Responsibilities:
Advanced Test Support:
Perform advanced technician work in support of test engineering and product development activities across multiple products and test areas
Test Setup and Troubleshooting:
Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot test setups, fixtures, and supporting equipment used in validation and development activities
Problem Solving:
Develop resolutions to complex technical issues through practical experience, sound judgment, and frequent use of creativity
Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect, review, and communicate test data to support engineering decisions, issue resolution, and development progress
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with test engineers, product engineers, design engineers, and other internal teams to support development priorities and customer-related needs
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve test methods, workflow efficiency, equipment reliability, and overall execution within the development environment
Mentoring and Guidance:
Share expertise with colleagues and provide guidance and support to less experienced technicians and team members
Priority and Change Management:
Anticipate shifting priorities and redirect efforts as needed to support critical business and project needs
Quality and Risk Awareness:
Recognize when technical issues, decisions, or recommendations could significantly affect product quality, internal operations, external customers, or resource utilization
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent 5+ years of related experience preferred Additional technical training, certification, or coursework in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field is a plus Experience in test engineering, product development, lab operations, manufacturing test, or engineering support Experience supporting multiple products, platforms, or test processes in a fast-paced technical environment Experience working with engineers to support debug, validation, data collection, and product readiness activities Demonstrated success mentoring or supporting less experienced technicians or team members For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce
  • Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State
  • Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position

3rd Shift/Nights The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $31 to $43. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
