    $50.00

  • up to 35-40% General Description of the
Senior Product Engineer:
Responsible to identify, design, and develop a product/product family Ensures production processes efficiently utilize materials and personnel Tests finished product for quality purposes and recommends changes to product specifications as necessary They receive and process changes required by clients, released on production (not launches), at the SR level, responsible to develop the product from concept up to the SOP on a limited basis (if its is a BTP, Build To Print) or as a full development at an FSS, Full-Service Supplier May develop, uncover, characterize, and assess strategic new products and/or product extensions Transforms and adopts discoveries to ensure research and development activities with maintain an organization's competitive position May also focus on pure research and/or design and implementing the manufacturing processes and equipment for the product Qualifications of the
Advanced Secondary Tool Engineer :
Education:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
Experience:
4-8 years of experience in product engineering, with direct experience in a Tier 1 automotive or OEM manufacturing environment
Core Tools:
Proficient in AIAG core tools including
APQP, PPAP, FMEA
(DFMEA/PFMEA),
Control Plans, and SPC Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and CAD software (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks)
Knowledge Base:
Specific experience in Instrument Panels, Door Panels, Consoles Preferred Qualifications of the
Senior Product Engineer:
Experience in TeamCenter or similar PLM systems
