Job Description
- Research and evaluate market data, customer feedback, and design proposals to support product development
- Design and develop geothermal heat pumps, HVAC/R systems, and related equipment
- Perform system selection, sizing, performance calculations, and application support
- Provide technical documentation, schematics, and guidance to sales and customers
- Ensure compliance with safety, performance, and certification standards
- Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with manufacturing on production feasibility, assembly methods, and process optimization
- Conduct and document performance testing in laboratory environments
- Assist internal teams and customers with technical inquiries and field performance issues Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Experience with HVAC/R, geothermal, dehumidification, or energy-related product development preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC/R or geothermal systems and components
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, testing methods, and product development lifecycles
- CAD proficiency preferred; strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
