Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineer - Product Development to join our innovative team. This role requires a strong foundation in Product Design and Product Engineering , with a focus on bringing new products to market. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) , and Manufacturing Processes . They will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through Prototyping and into production, utilizing their Problem Solving abilities and a commitment to Continuous Improvement Process . This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong Communication and Teamwork skills, while also contributing to New Product Development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of new products, ensuring alignment with market needs and company strategy. Utilize SolidWorks (CAD) software for creating detailed designs, models, and drawings. Oversee the Prototyping phase, iterating on designs based on testing and feedback. Collaborate with the Manufacturing Processes team to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Apply Mechanical Engineering principles to solve complex design challenges. Participate in Product Lifecycle Management activities, from concept to end-of-life. Conduct thorough Troubleshooting (Problem Solving) to identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues. Contribute to Research and development efforts to identify new technologies and materials. Present design concepts and progress updates to stakeholders, utilizing strong Presentations skills. Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to ensure successful product launches.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Working knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, specifically SolidWorks. General knowledge of Manufacturing Processes . Demonstrated ability in Product Design and Product Engineering . Experience with Prototyping techniques. Strong Problem Solving and analytical skills. Excellent Communication and Teamwork abilities. Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management principles. Understanding of Continuous Improvement Process methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in product development. Experience with Electrical Engineering principles. Experience with Project Management methodologies. Familiarity with Marketing principles. Experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Demonstrated Leadership potential. Experience with Innovation processes.
