Location Endicott, NY Salary:
$62,354 - $85,000 The Person The key skills and qualities of a Development Engineer atAmphenol Commercial Air:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience), with +1 years of relevant experience Demonstrated hands-on experience in product development and prototyping Experience with CAD (Creo or equivalent) and PDM systems (Windchill or equivalent) preferred Practical experience with 3D printing/additive manufacturing and basic machining is required Experience with electrical connectors or related aerospace products is preferred Experience with component molding is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel < 10% of the time Must be able to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time Use of a computer from 1 to 8 hours a day Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds Possible travel domestic or overseas The Company - With offices in Endicott and Sidney, NY and leveraging manufacturing sites in Sidney, NY, Mesa, AZ, Nogales, MX, and a Design Center in Pasadena, CA, Amphenol has been a leader in designing and manufacturing electrical components for the aviation and commercial airplane industry for over 100 years.
