Product Development Engineer Endwell, NY Area | $62,000-$85,000 Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Product Development Engineer for an industry-leading manufacturer near Endwell, NY. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on product development, prototyping, testing, and problem-solving . You'll work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to turn new product concepts into functional prototypes and production-ready designs. What You'll Do Build, test, and refine prototypes for new product development Use 3D printing, machining, molding, and other prototyping equipment Partner with Design Engineers to develop and validate new products Evaluate designs for form, fit, function, and manufacturability Coordinate prototype components and assemblies with internal teams and outside vendors Support testing, root cause analysis, and design improvements Explore and implement new prototyping methods and technologies What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 1+ years of relevant experience, including internships or co-ops Hands-on experience with product development and prototyping Experience with 3D printing/additive manufacturing and basic machining Creo or other 3D CAD experience preferred Molding experience is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in building, testing, and improving products Why Consider This Opportunity?
