Job Description Summary Provide technical interface between the customer and Special Metals. The functional responsibilities of the position include administering to daily technical issues, understanding the product end use and material constraints, defining internal requirements necessary to product the product and addressing customer technical concerns when a product fails to meet expectations. In addition, the product engineer is responsible for providing technical support for Sales (review of RFQs, new orders and specifications), Manufacturing (definition of process steps and item review) and Quality (definition of MOMs). Essential Functions

• Administer to daily technical issues as directed by the Manager for ensuring a consistent and reliable product.
• Define/approve process routes (items) necessary to meet the product material and end use property constraints.
• Maintain an ongoing technical interface via technical meetings and discussions with the customer as assigned.
• Perform necessary technical evaluations to address customer concerns.
• Investigate claims and document findings.
• Provide technical direction for new products and inquires.
• Provide technical support where appropriate to other areas of the organization Qualifications Education and Experience A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required preferably in Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science.

An advance degree and/or one to three years of experience is a plus. Special Skills The employee will have knowledge of the principles and practices

Relocation Relocation is authorized for this position. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $69,100 to $103,700 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.5X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
