Your work will directly influence our capacity planning, facility designs, and strategic decision-making processes, driving Intel's ability to deliver cutting-edge technologies to our customers. Collaborating across diverse teams, you will help define and execute a world-class operational vision while fostering innovation, efficiency, and growth. Intel Foundry Capacity Optimization (FCO) is responsible for factory capacity, capital equipment planning, site space, and plays a key role in driving the IDM 2.0 growth strategy and the Intel Foundry operating model. Capital Operations plays a key leadership role in planning strategy, capital, and capacity for the factories. We are seeking to hire a Strategic/Development Industrial Engineer to support the New Mexico site which has a unique charter to deliver high-volume advanced packaging manufacturing as well technology development of advanced packaging products/components and Intel Foundry customer programs. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Collaborate with organizational leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze complex business data, identify risks and opportunities, and develop data-driven models and reports. Drive the long-range capacity strategy by integrating considerations for product roadmaps, factory capability, affordability, and forecast uncertainty. Forecast build plans and contribute to facility designs to meet evolving business and customer requirements. Partner with supply chain and manufacturing stakeholders to communicate and execute strategies for capital, capacity, layout, and product roadmaps. Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights, influence strategies, and present actionable recommendations to leadership. Develop and communicate requirements for critical systems and business process improvements to ensure alignment with evolving manufacturing strategies. Investigate, design, and optimize production capacity models and layouts to enhance efficiency, eliminate waste, and reduce operational costs. Contribute to the spatial optimization of first-of-a-kind equipment, layout methodologies, and building designs to support future site builds. Develop execution plans and systems to enable the organization's strategic vision while monitoring performance to ensure compliance with established roadmaps. Capacity analysis, data analysis, driving continuous improvement, optimization of capital and space. Asset management including new vs. reuse decisions, best case reuse allocation and next generation platform insertion. Maximizing Intel revenue through forecasting and capital management. Consolidating inputs from diverse organizations into comprehensive, riskaware recommendations.
