A Product Development Engineer develops new products for companies, and participates in all phases of product development including research, design, production and marketing. Uses research on customer demand and industry trends to develop product ideas; builds and tests product prototypes; evaluates production options and costs. May specialize in a particular type of product or in products for a specific industry.
We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to support a fast-paced footwear development environment and help drive product execution through close collaboration with cross-functional partners. This position is suited to someone who can jump in quickly, contribute across the development process, and support the delivery of high-quality product outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with key functional partners throughout the product development process. Work closely with teams across engineering, product testing, material design, material development, product design, product management, merchandising, sourcing, and operations. Support coordination with overseas partners both within the organization and externally. Contribute to development activities under the direction of the Footwear Development Director for Brand Impact Sports.
Required:
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional partners throughout the product development process. Ability to partner with footwear engineering, footwear product testing, footwear material design, and material development teams. Ability to work with product design, product management, product merchandising, sourcing, operations, and overseas partners.
