Today Job Description Fair Manufacturing Inc., an agricultural and industrial OEM located in Yankton, SD, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Product Engineer to join our team. This position will encompass all aspects of the engineering program and product life cycle: design, development, analysis, and documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong interpersonal skills and technical knowledge of agricultural industry.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Product Design and Development :

work with team to design and develop new products from conception to completion including specifications, schematics, prototypes, manufacturing instructions, user manuals and guides where appropriate, and project records and documentation.

Engineering Analysis:

conduct engineering analyses to assess the feasibility, performance, and reliability of products. Test to validate designs.

Documentation:

record and maintain product documentation throughout the product life cycle. Hands-on approach : willingness to engage in field testing and troubleshooting.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5 years of experience in engineering in the agricultural or heavy equipment industry, or related field preferred. Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of agricultural industry, especially equipment and machinery, including knowledge of features, specifications, and applications. Highly motivated self-starter. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while providing a quality product in a timely manner. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Type:

Full-time, salary position with base compensation and bonus potential

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, and other hours as needed. Travel required about 5% of the time. About Fair Manufacturing Inc.
