Technology Development Engineer Intern (Summer 2027)

$30.00 / hour

Housing Stipend Available Focus:

The Technology Development Engineer Intern supports the Technology Development team, gaining hands-on experience supporting product and process improvement initiatives across laboratory, pilot plant, and manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do:

Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need. Assist with research, testing, data analysis, and technical documentation Analyze operating and experimental data to identify trends, evaluate process performance, and recommend opportunities for improvement Support test plans, including experimental design, data collection, and analysis to support process and product development projects

What You'll Bring:

Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Chemical Engineering degree program Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations. Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) during rotation; Not eligible for virtual work Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
