AdTech Ceramics is currently seeking a detail-oriented Product Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering and coordinating activities to cost, design, document, test, and manufacture high quality products.
Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for areas of assigned products.
  • Assist sales in drawing reviews, production cost calculations, quotations, and technical discussions with customers, when required.
  • Collaborate with management, production, and sales to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
  • Completes contract review for sales orders of assigned products.
  • Initiates activities to design tooling for new products, modify existing designs, improve product techniques, and develop test procedures.
  • Works with production and process engineering to define, improve, and document manufacturing processes.
  • Establish standard cost rates for products as they are introduced into the manufacturing process.
  • Assigns quality standards for QC and Inspection departments.
  • Directs testing of products and systems for quality and reliability.
  • Reviews products, as required, throughout the production process to ensure outgoing quality and support in manufacturing improvements.
  • Compare actual costs verses the standard costs of products and drive cost reduction through improved yields and productivity.
  • Works cross-functionally with all departments to meet company objectives.
  • Establish project timelines for completion of projects and can keep projects on task; communicates awareness if project is delayed and is able to drive efforts to steer it back on track.
  • Possesses the ability to use the computer system for departmental functions.
  • Willingly accepts responsibility of sharing skills and knowledge; trains other employees.
  • Understands and meets or exceeds quality standards; seeks to minimize error rate.
  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Supports and helps to implement new ideas.
  • Must maintain acceptable level of performance.

  • Knows and follows all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively give and receive feedback.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to function within a team environment.
Education, Training, and Skill Recommendations/Requirements:
  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, and 2-3 years of professional work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
