We are seeking a results-driven Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, prototype and validate mechanical systems and components for projects in the defense, aerospace and oil & gas sectors.

The role spans concept design through production support, with a strong focus on 3D CAD modeling, detailed drawings with GD&T, rapid prototyping and close collaboration with manufacturing and test teams to deliver safe, reliable and producible hardware. Key Responsibilities Lead conceptual and detailed mechanical design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create 3D models, detailed drawings and fabrication packages.

Apply GD&T and ASME drawing practices to produce clear, inspectable engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.

Build, iterate and evaluate physical prototypes (rapid prototyping, 3D printing, CNC parts) to validate fit, form and function; plan and execute hands-on prototyping activities.

Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers and quality teams to ensure designs are DFM/DFA compliant, generate and maintain BOMs, and support production ramp and troubleshooting.

Perform engineering analysis and hand calculations for stress, load, thermal and fluid considerations; coordinate finite element or CFD analyses with internal teams or external specialists as required.

Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for part and assembly modeling, drawing creation and release.

Experience with prototyping (rapid prototyping, 3D printing, CNC machining) and hands-on build/test activities.

Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance analysis.

Proven mechanical engineering fundamentals: statics, dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, materials and stress analysis.

Experience producing BOMs, engineering change notices, and supporting manufacturing/assembly processes; familiarity with DFM/DFA principles.

Excellent problem-solving, documentation and communication skills; ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and manage priorities under schedule pressure.
