About Stress Free Auto Care Stress Free Auto Care is building an internally developed operating platform designed specifically for modern automotive service operations. The platform combines point-of-sale, customer communication, workflow automation, and AI-assisted operational tooling into a unified ecosystem used by both frontline teams and customers. Following initial deployment, we are looking for a highly capable Product Engineer to help rapidly iterate, optimize, and operationalize the platform in live production environments. This role sits at the intersection of: operations, product, engineering, AI systems, and real-world user behavior. You will work directly with executive leadership, product leadership, customer support teams, and frontline store personnel to identify friction, improve workflows, and rapidly deploy solutions. This is not a traditional Product Manager role. This role is designed for someone who enjoys: moving fast, solving messy operational problems, observing real users, simplifying complexity, and continuously improving systems in production. What You'll Do Observe real-world users and identify operational friction points Rapidly prototype and deploy workflow improvements Improve UI/UX simplicity across operational systems Conduct QA testing across deployed platform functionality Debug operational failures and identify root causes Participate in prompt engineering and AI workflow optimization Work directly with frontline store teams to improve adoption and usability Translate operational problems into technical solutions Map and optimize operational workflows across the customer journey Partner with engineering and product leadership to accelerate iteration cycles Support ongoing deployment and stabilization efforts following platform launch Improve performance, reliability, usability, and operational scalability of internal systems Ideal Candidate You may be: an engineer with strong product instincts, a technical operator, a startup builder, an AI-native systems thinker, or a highly technical generalist. You do not need to come from the automotive industry. You should thrive in environments that are: fast-moving, ambiguous, operationally intense, and highly iterative. You'll Likely Succeed If You Are obsessive about improving systems highly autonomous detail oriented fast-moving field-oriented comfortable breaking and fixing things capable of simplifying complexity naturally curious about operational behavior energized by real-world problem solving Preferred Skills Product thinking and workflow design QA testing and debugging AI tooling and prompt engineering Rapid prototyping API and systems integration familiarity UI/UX instincts Operational process mapping Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users What This Role Is Not A meeting-heavy product management role A pure software engineering position A corporate process management position A roadmap coordination role Compensation Compensation will vary based on experience, capability, and technical proficiency.
