Job Description Insight Global is currently seeking a Product Engineer to join a leading Energy company located in Houston, TX. The person in this role will act as Technical Engineering Lead on complex/critical hyperscale Data Center Facility components taking full ownership of all engineering activities undertaken by product and discipline engineers. They will be responsible for the mechanical or electrical scope and systems across the design, construction, assembly, testing, installation and commissioning phases. They will check and approve drawings/designs, review vendor quotations and provide feedback to the procurement team, prepare and complete various mechanical or electrical engineering deliverable drawings, documents, and calculations, such as:
Electrical:
electrical load list, cable sizing / schedule, single line diagrams, earthing protection, lighting studies
Mechanical:
equipment lists, piping documentation, system calculations (aligned to mechanical scope where applicable) Additionally, they will identify and resolve load balancing, capacity planning, and system performance optimization.
