full-time Salary Range $140k to $180k / year depending upon experience About this Job Atmosic Technologies is looking for an experienced RF ATE Test Engineer who is passionate about delivering differentiated low-power wireless connectivity solutions. As an RF ATE Test Engineer at Atmosic, you'll play a critical role in validating and verifying our advanced RF systems. You will collaborate cross-functionally to define test requirements, develop automated test environments, and ensure our products meet rigorous performance, reliability, and quality standards. The role involves designing, developing, and managing automated test equipment (ATE) testing solutions for wireless semiconductor devices. Responsibilities include test case design, test execution, analyzing test results, and ensuring functionality and performance of devices. The RF ATE Test Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testing processes and support the delivery of high-quality products. Job title and responsibilities commensurate with experience.

Position:

Full-time & in-person (San Jose, California) Qualifications Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Expertise in Test Engineering, including designing and developing test strategies and methodologies. 5+ years of experience in ATE test engineering or a similar role 5+ years of experience writing test programs on the Advantest V93K tester with Wavescale option, familiar with SmarTest 8 environment Strong grasp of communications theory and signal processing 5+ years of RF testing experience. Background in analog electronics or electrical power systems Proficiency with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.) Hands-on experience with communication protocols: FPGA, SerDes, I2C, Ethernet, PCI, USB, SPI, UART Proficiency in writing test software (Java required; Python, R a plus) Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy systems Experience with system-level validation/verification Knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and testing techniques Background in analog electronics or electrical power systems Experience leading or mentoring RF test teams Previous experience in semiconductor or wireless communication industries is an advantage.
