Salary Range:
$85,000-$95,000, DOE About the Role We're hiring an RF Design Engineer to assist a team of iBwave designers, PCTEL walk testers, and system performance engineers and commissioners — delivering Public Safety DAS (ERCES/BDA) and Cellular DAS from design through AHJ and carrier acceptance. This is a hands-on technical role. You'll own design quality, code compliance, and system performance on every project. What You'll Do Assist in, or lead, the design of indoor cellular, radio, and DAS network systems for commercial and public safety projects Create system plans, floor plan layouts, and design reports using IBwave Design Enterprise Network Planning (training provided for entry-level candidates) Produce in-building RF propagation and prediction modeling (heat maps) using IBwave Perform radio engineering evaluations for system planning and site acquisition; evaluate coverage problems and new service-area requirements Develop bills of materials, work scopes, and proposals that meet client requirements Assist with project cost estimating and project coordination Manage carrier testing and closeout package requirements Identify and troubleshoot causes of RF interference as needed Qualifications 3-5 years' experience with RF building design/maintenance Detail-oriented with high accuracy Proficient with IBwave, Microsoft Project, Visio, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with carrier testing and closeout package requirements Strong analytical thinking and results-focused approach Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills Fast learner and open to instructions and criticism. Takes initiative to solve problems and learn.
