Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. (STEM) AND 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.. Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands) Experience designing, developing, integrating, and/or testing RF equipment for airborne platforms. Ability to design, select and characterize RF components to meet mission objectives Experience in Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) antenna analysis for source/victim (co-site) analysis Experience in one or more of the following: Designing, integrating, testing, installing, operating LOS and BLOS communication systems in airborne military applications Experience with voice, military and network waveforms Experience with cryptographic implementations Experience with RF antenna and component design and performance analysis Must have a Active US Government Secret Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needsPreferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and data analysis experience Knowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down, specification derivation and interface control documentation Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a close team environment Experience engaging directly with internal and external technical and programmatic representatives Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills Demonstrated ability to assimilate new concepts quickly and independently and work in a self-directed manner Experience in model-based systems engineering using Cameo or similar SysML tools Experience in performance analysis using MATLAB and Excel or similar tools Familiarity with Atlassian collaboration tool set (Jira and Confluence) Experience in supplier/subcontract management Experience with developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work Experience building supplier evaluation criteria and experience in conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selection Ability to review documents from the supplier's development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design review #AS-FA3Primary Level Salary Range:
$152,900.00- $229,300.
