78370 Description If you are a motivated student with skills and interest in electromagnetics, RF, analog, and semiconductors, our Skyworks Cedar Rapids, IA design center is looking for you! As home to an elite team of top RF professionals, you will work side by side with a mentor and grow your skills working on real products. Our Cedar Rapids location specializes in RF connectivity products covering a range of solutions, end markets and applications. This is a very exciting opportunity for those who have ambition for professional growth and a desire to contribute to Skyworks success. Your job function will include but not be limited to measuring and simulating RF circuits while helping to improve the performance of new designs in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • You will support design and test evaluations, along with data validation of multi-chip-modules with integrated power amplifiers, switches, acoustic filters, LNAs, and CMOS controllers
  • You will perform RF tests, evaluate, summarize, and present data to design engineers
  • Assist design using RF modeling tools, and production team using test data summary Required Experience and Skills
  • Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering BS or MS program, and be returning to school after the completion of this internship
  • Must have the ability to complete a 3 month internship term prior to graduation. Term is Summer 2027 (May/June - August)
  • Strong background in RF and Microwave design
  • Knowledge in RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.)
  • RFIC Design and simulation experience will be a plus
  • Experience in using RF equipment such as oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources
  • Debugging experience
  • Good communication, data summary and presentation skills The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.

S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
