Job Description

Join a growing, innovation-driven engineering team as an RF High Power Amplifier Design Engineer in Glendale Heights, Il. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite with a company known for precision solid-state microwave and RF systems serving critical communications and advanced industrial power applications, where your expertise will directly support cutting-edge high-power RF amplifier development in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. Qualifications and responsibilities for this RF High Power Amplifier Design Engineer position include: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF/Microwave Engineering 3+ years of experience in RF high-power amplifier design, ideally 50-100W or higher Strong experience with GaN and/or LDMOS technologies Proficiency with Smith chart applications for impedance matching, stability analysis, and power transfer network design Hands-on experience with AWR Microwave Office, ADS, and RF simulation/modeling tools Design and develop new L-Band and S-Band solid-state high-power amplifiers Lead amplifier block design including matching networks, bias circuits, thermal management, testing, and troubleshooting Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams while maintaining detailed design and simulation documentation
Salary :
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
