THE WORK

As a Cyber RF Software Engineer Senior Staff, my typical day is filled with excitement and energy as I tackle a variety of challenges and responsibilities. Each day as a team lead, I oversee one or more software development teams and ensure that our work is excellent and matches or exceeds the outline of the software development process being used on any particular project. I'm passionate about mentoring and guiding my team members, and I enjoy watching them grow and develop their skills. Usually each day includes consulting and analyzing user requirements and translating that information to build software design and performance requirements. I love digging into complex problems and finding creative solutions, and I'm always looking for ways to improve our software development process. When I'm not designing and coding new software or modifying existing code to add new features, I'm debugging existing software and correcting defects. I'm meticulous about my work, and I take pride in ensuring that our software is reliable and efficient. I also make recommendations for improving our documentation and software development process standards, because I believe that's essential to delivering high-quality products. I'm also responsible for integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments, which requires a deep understanding of C++, K8, Python 3.0, GIT, and CI/CD pipeline. I'm super familiar with Agile Sprint Development methodologies, and I've worked on a range of projects that involve Digital Signal Processing and related RF technologies. • Active security clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a DSP focus from an accredited institution.

Equivalency:

MS in Engineering/CS+2years experience OR4years DSP experience+high school diploma

• Minimum 12years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects that follow established software processes.
• Minimum 12years of professional programming experience using C++, Linux, Python (or comparable languages). Additional expertise (preferred but not required):
• RF software development (≥4years).
• Kubernetes/CI-CD pipeline implementation.
• Git version-control.
• Agile/Sprint development methodology.
• Digital Signal Processing techniques, including short-burst/hopping signal detection, energy detection, channelization, and digital signal synthesis.

Desired Skills:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $150,800 - $265,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
