Job Description

Electronics and RF Engineer Mar 31 Written By Description Rydberg Technologies is seeking electronics engineers to join our quantum R D and product development group to work on development and manufacturing of next-generation atomic RF receivers and quantum devices. Responsibilities will include advanced hardware design and development for prototype and commercial products, component-level (optoelectronics, low-noise photoreceivers, etc.) and devicelevel integration, performance testing and optimization, and manufacturing process development. We seek high-caliber candidates who are solution-oriented, organized, self-motivated, have an interest in top-level project planning and execution, give attention to the finest project details, and have the ability to work both autonomously and in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment. Required experience and skills Analog and digital electronics, embedded systems, data acquisition, firmware, signal processing, programming (e.g. C/C++, python, MATLAB, fortran), hardware-software interfacing and control systems. Other experience and skills RF/THz electronics design and engineering, PCBA, FPGA, EM modelling (e.g. ANSYS) and technical design (e.g. Solidworks), software defined radio, front-end software and GUIs. Qualifications Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in electrical engineering, controls engineering or related field. BS degree with substantial relevant industry experience will also be considered. One to three years of post-doctoral or industry experience highly desired. Priority consideration will be given to US citizens or green card holders.
