Communications Systems - RF Engineer

We are seeking a high-caliber RF Communications Systems Engineer to lead the design and implementation of mission-critical communication architectures. In this role, you will be the technical lead for systems powering advanced drone guidance and secure link operations. Leveraging your background in RF design and theory, you will integrate specialized technologies including RF front-ends, GPS-disciplined oscillators, and embedded architectures. Perform Link Budget Analysis, Frequency Planning, Schematic Design, Simulation and Prototyping. Contribute to PHY architecture, design, and implementation. Conduct algorithm research, including theoretical analysis and simulations Work closely with algorithm, System, hardware, and software teams to lead high-impact technical decisions about system design and implementation. Perform system demonstrations and testing. Background in modem or signal processing development for wireless systems. Able to build unit-level test benches and simulate designs. Experience in DSP algorithms design and development with a preference for communication systems applications. Experience with MATLAB for algorithm development, modeling, simulation, and performance evaluation. Experience with synchronization methods, RF front-end architectures, channel estimation, encoding/decoding, error correction. Experienced with RF and other lab test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with emphasis on signal processing with 5+ years experience in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related. Highly motivated, team player driven to achieve high-quality results. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
