We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Systems Engineer - RF Engineer supporting one of our premier programs at Raytheon, an RTX Business. The Apertures and RF Team is looking for an RF Engineer to be a member of a technical team supporting adaptable and multidisciplinary hardware systems. The team is responsible for analysis, trade studies, design, design reviews, testing, fielding and hardware refresh, integration, and operational support. In this role, you will participate in system analysis, trade studies, design, design reviews, testing, fielding, integration, and operational support throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept definition through detailed design, development, qualification testing, fielding, and customer support. You will support engineering efforts as an individual contributor across a variety of technical activities involving RF communications links and systems, antenna system design, functionality, and operation. The work is on-site in Aurora, CO, and program support activities may require travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations, not expected to exceed 25%. What You Will Do- Support planning and execution of analysis, integration, verification, and troubleshooting test activities in laboratory and operational environments
- Support program activities at CONUS and OCONUS locations
- Support troubleshooting and failure data analysis, including root cause and corrective action processes and the use of laboratory and field test equipment
- Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations using analysis tools such as MATLAB
- Prepare and present results in technical reports and briefings to internal and external stakeholders
- Support engineering activities related to the testing and troubleshooting of hardware
- Support root-cause analysis and implementation of design changes
- Support the maintenance of engineering specifications, including design specifications, analysis requirements documents, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Support the maintenance of engineering databases
- Participate in engineering tag-ups and meetings involving the Program, Systems Engineering, Chief Engineer, and customer
- Resolve and coordinate system technical solutions with engineering teams
- Participate in periodic team meetings, interface teleconferences, and working group meetings
- Support associated tasks required to implement program process requirements
- Support mockup hardware installation and repair activities
- Support sustainment, depot returns, troubleshooting, and repair activities Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience supporting radio frequency (RF) communications links and systems, antenna systems, or electronic hardware systems
- Experience using tools such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB, Ansys HFSS, Python, or similar tools for data analysis and automation
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues involving electronic systems and using commercial test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
- Active and transferable DoD
TS/SCI U.S.
government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. Qualifications We Prefer- Experience with reflector system design and antenna feed design
- Experience with solid-state amplifier performance parameters and high-power tube amplifier technology
- Experience with computer networking and cybersecurity or INFOSEC practices
- Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols
- Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
