Job Description
Hiring Type:
FT (Open to PT/Consulting/Internship for exceptional candidate)Job Location:
Hybrid/Remote (with periodic travel to lab/test ranges and program sites) Key Responsibilities- Lead the architecture, design, and development of network planning tools to visualize interference between 5G networks, government emitters, and consumer end-user devices
- Architect, design, and implement visualization device applications using Unity
- Lead engineering teams through design reviews, testing, and delivery; collaborate with government, industry, and other stakeholders.
- Produce technical documentation (specifications, ICDs, CONOPS) and support certifications/accreditations (e.g., Common Criteria, Type‑1 pathways).
- Develop and implement test procedures for RF components and systems
- Conduct signal analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Perform simulations and modeling of RF systems
- Research and develop new RF technologies and applications
- Prepare technical documentation and reports
- Provide technical support and training to other team members
- Conduct field tests and measurements to validate system performance Qualified Experience
- Familiarity with wireless communication standards like LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth
- Strong understanding of antenna design and theory
- Proficiency in using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and other RF test equipment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in C#, Unity development, and Python; experience building automated analysis and microservice pipelines (Docker/Kubernetes) for RF/security tooling.
- Hands-on experience in project management for complex technical systems.
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (active Top Secret and SCI eligible preferred). Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GIS or network visualization tools for 5G planning and interference modeling.
- Familiarity with 5G-enabled UAVs and emerging 5G use cases in tactical or enterprise contexts.
