Transmission & Distribution Engineer (Oil & Gas) About the Position As a mid-level T&D Engineer in the Oil & Gas group, you will be responsible for performing engineering design under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer. You will be responsible for supporting client projects and providing a quality deliverable that is on time and within the defined budget.

Salary Rate:

$90,000 - $140,000 / year The salary range above is based upon the Denver, Colorado labor market. Essential Responsibilities Performs detailed design and prepares drawings for all aspects of electrical power and mechanical systems within the industrial space to include one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, conduit and cable sizing/routing, grounding design, general arrangement, selection of equipment, and wiring diagrams. Provides conceptual and high-level designs during bidding stage of projects with limited information or direction. Assists with external T&D standards development, such as Distribution and Transmission Construction Standards. Performs various T&D designs in PLSCADD Prepares a variety of documents and reports associated with projects including basis of designs, bill of materials, and specifications as required. Checks the work of designers, drafters, and field service personnel for general quality and accuracy as required. Contributes to

standard development in a manner that is cognizant of both engineering and design departments. Reduces complexity of projects/tasks within their discipline for high-level efficiency. Serves a major role in the QA/QC process and takes initiative and ownership on all project and task quality. Assists with client contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments and meetings. Maintains outstanding company-client relationships. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Must Have Education:

Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Degree from an ABET accredited school.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering, design, or other relevant experience

License/Certifications:

PE Preferred Ability to interpret basic one-line/three-line diagrams and schematics Basic working knowledge of electrical and civil systems as they relate to industrial environments Working knowledge of power systems Previous experience working for IOUs, Coops, Municipalities, and/or O&G Clients Proficiency with PLSCADD is required Proficiency with AutoCAD Proficiency with AUD is a plus Familiarity and experience utilizing various codes and standards such as NEC, NESC, RUS, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and additional computer software Maintain high ethical and professional standards within the overall organization Engaged in lifelong learning to maintain knowledge of contemporary issues Willingness to attend conferences, training workshops, seminars, regular undergraduate, and graduate classes as appropriate for advancement and as required to maintain quality of work Willingness to attend safety training and follow safety rules and guidelines Provide technical assistance and training for junior drafters and designers A strong written and verbal command of the English language Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
