Camp Instructor:

Vibe Coding / Artificial Intelligence / Robotics Instructor The We Code 2 Camp Instructor will lead students in hands-on technology learning designed to introduce coding, artificial intelligence, robotics, and innovation in a way that is engaging, practical, and age-appropriate. This role is responsible for helping students move beyond simply using technology and begin understanding how technology is built, how intelligent systems function, and how innovation can be used to solve real-world problems. The instructor will teach students across multiple age groups—including Elementary, Jr. High, and High School—through structured one-hour sessions that rotate throughout the day. Instruction should combine creativity, technical skill-building, project-based learning, and strong classroom engagement. Core Teaching AreasVibe Coding / Artificial Intelligence Lead students in beginner-friendly coding experiences using AI-assisted tools, low-code platforms, and creative digital development environments. Students will learn how to build simple apps, games, digital projects, and understand how artificial intelligence powers modern tools such as chatbots, automation, image generation, and intelligent assistants. Robotics Lead students in robotics instruction including assembly, programming, logic sequencing, sensor-based learning, and engineering challenges. Students should experience hands-on interaction with robotics kits while learning how hardware and software work together. Key Responsibilities Teach daily coding, AI, and/or robotics sessions across age groups Develop age-appropriate lesson plans for Elementary, Jr. High, and High School students Lead hands-on projects that encourage problem-solving and creativity Introduce AI concepts including prompt design, machine learning basics, automation, and responsible AI use Guide robotics activities including programming, testing, troubleshooting, and team challenges Support student project presentations and demonstrations Maintain an engaging, safe, and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with camp leadership on curriculum execution Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching coding, robotics, STEM, or technology to youth Familiarity with AI tools, robotics platforms, and beginner programming environments Strong communication and classroom leadership skills Ability to simplify technical concepts for young learners Passion for preparing underserved youth for future technology opportunities

Pay:
