Job Description
Description Are you passionate about turning manufacturing and operations data into clear, actionable insights? We are seeking a BIE II to build analytics and reporting capabilities for our Robotic Manufacturing and Technical Operations (RMTO) team, equipping engineers and operations leaders with the data they need to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement. The BIE II will own the development and maintenance of dashboards, metrics, and analyses that provide visibility into manufacturing performance, quality, and capacity. This role partners with data and engineering teams to support data cataloging and data structure initiatives, and contributes to AI and machine learning projects by providing analytical support and tracking outcomes. The BIE II works closely with stakeholders to understand business questions and deliver well-scoped BI solutions. Key job responsibilities
- Build and maintain analytics dashboards and reports that provide actionable visibility into manufacturing performance, quality, and operational efficiency
- Define and track key performance indicators to support RMTO goals and continuous improvement
- Build self-service reporting tools and automate manual analytics processes to improve stakeholder access to data
- Work with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into specific, well-scoped BI deliverables
- Support data cataloging and data structure initiatives to improve data discoverability and accessibility across RMTO data assets
- Support AI and machine learning initiatives by preparing data, building performance tracking dashboards, and providing analytical frameworks
- Investigate data anomalies and troubleshoot issues in reports and dashboards to maintain data quality and reliability
- Write clear documentation of solutions to ensure ease of use and maintainability by others
- Participate in team design and prioritization discussions, contributing ideas and flagging risks About the team Amazon Robotics is located in the greater Boston area, the epicenter of robotics innovation.
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc.
