- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
- Associate's degree or higher in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC programming experience, including operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes (2-axis through 5-axis)
- Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX CAM, EdgeCam, or equivalent) for toolpath generation and CNC programming
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent CAD software for reading and interpreting 3D models and engineering drawings
- Solid understanding of machining principles, GD&T, and shop safety practices Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Experience programming and operating DMG machines with Siemens controls
- Familiarity with multi-axis (4
- or 5-axis) machining strategies and fixturing
- Background in mechanical fabrication or prototyping environments
- Experience with inventory management systems and procurement processes
- Knowledge of materials science as it relates to metal fabrication, including aluminum, steel, and titanium
- Experience supporting engineering teams in a fast-paced product development or R D environment
