Job Description

Job Title:
Robotics Technician Purpose and Description Execute product manufacturing and business group requirements by utilizing electrical, pneumatic, and computer skillsets to deliver orders that meet customer expectations while maintaining quality standards. Essential Functions Consistently achieve high-quality results while performing product assembly, modification, and/or system integration using documentation such as prints, illustrations, and schematics Demonstrate workmanship that meets process demands, including internal standards, customer specifications, and applicable industrial standards Sequentially follow step-by-step instructions provided in Manufacturing Process Plans, documenting all in-process checks Use engineering design documents to place, assemble, and secure robots and associated equipment in defined locations Move robots using a teach pendant Load, upgrade, and back up software Define or teach simple robot paths Perform testing or functional verification of products and/or systems as defined (engineering testing, engineering releases, or manufacturing control plans) Troubleshoot and debug mechanical and electrical equipment Disassemble and prepare products and systems for shipment Properly care for and use company tools in compliance with Tool Management Procedures, including daily tool check-out and return Comply with all robot safety procedures, including but not limited to hazardous materials handling, lockout/tagout, and robot safety standards Maintain reliable and consistent attendance Uphold a high level of professionalism in appearance, communication, and work area organization and cleanliness Technical Skills (Electrical Focus) Basic to advanced knowledge of electrical and robotic systems and components Proficiency with hand and power tools for electrical work Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and engineering documentation Effective use of diagnostic tools and equipment Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues Ability to independently decipher all electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings, including legend symbols and unique characters Experience leading small teams and training others (R3 level) Additional Qualifications Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge of
ISO 9001
requirements Self-driven with a disciplined approach to responsibilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Understanding of MIOSHA regulations, including lockout and hazardous materials Basic computer knowledge Basic math skills Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
