Job Description

About Brainy n Bright Brainy n Bright is a globally recognized STEM education institution with locations in Lawrenceville, NJ, Dubai, and India. With over 150 specialized technology programs for students ages 5-18, we've delivered more than one million hours of learning to students across 30+ countries. Our accolades include the Education Excellence Award 2024, Best EdTech Brand of 2023, and Best Global STEM Institution for 2021 and 2022. We are accredited by Microsoft, STEM.org (USA), KHDA (Government of Dubai), and ACTVET (Abu Dhabi). We believe learning should feel like discovery — hands-on, student-centered, and genuinely exciting. We're looking for a passionate and adaptable full-time STEM Instructor to join our Lawrenceville team. What you'll do You'll teach across a range of subjects — Python, Java, engineering, physics, and math — in small-group and one-on-one sessions with students of varying ages and skill levels.
Sessions are dynamic by design:
some follow structured curricula, others respond to individual student goals. You'll also collaborate with fellow instructors, contribute to lesson planning, and may support or coach students competing in robotics and STEM competitions. Travel to partner schools and off-site class locations is a regular part of the role. What we're looking for We care more about who you are as a teacher than your resume line items.
The right candidate:
Has solid working knowledge of Python, Java, engineering concepts, physics, and math Is genuinely student-centered — you meet students where they are and make them feel capable Can adapt fluidly to different class structures, ages, and learning styles Brings creative energy to lesson delivery — you're not reading from a script Has a growth mindset: you're always looking to improve your own skills and teaching Communicates well with both students and parents Holds a degree in engineering, STEM education, computer science, or a related field — or has equivalent hands-on experience Holds a valid driver's license and has access to a reliable vehicle — travel to schools and class locations is required Bonus if you also bring Experience with chess instruction or competitive chess SAT/test prep tutoring background 3D modeling and printing skills Participation or coaching experience in robotics competitions (WRO, VEX IQ, FTC, etc.) or Science Olympiad — this is a significant plus What we offer $45,000 - $55,000/year, commensurate with experience A collaborative, mission-driven team that takes education seriously A creative and flexible teaching environment — your ideas are welcome here Access to a well-equipped center with robotics kits, 3D printers, and more The chance to make a real impact on young learners at a critical stage of development If you're energized by helping students unlock their potential in STEM — and you thrive in an environment that values creativity, adaptability, and continuous growth — we'd love to hear from you.
