//www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5qAotisBH4 Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and ambitious mechanical engineer to work with other members of our engineering team to help design new products, prepare them for mass production, and work on maintaining and adding new features of our clock assembly robotics line. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Using SolidWorks to edit and create 2D drawings of parts to send out for manufacturing
  • Design new 3D parts in SolidWorks based on specifications and testing/research conducted by you
  • Use a 3D Printer to print, test, and validate your designs
  • Maintain and calibrate our clock assembly robotics line, add new features and hardware to the line, and resolve issues when they arise.
  • Ensures that robotic machines operate safely, dependably, and with precision; identifies and implements modifications
  • Learn how to use and help operate a Summa Cutter CNC Machine and basic power tools
  • Help perform dimensional inspections on new parts
  • Work with other engineers in the company to learn about the products, requirements, and company standards
  • Bring creative ideas to the table and share your insights and thoughts about new designs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or above (Candidates with relative experience will also be considered)
  • 2-3 years related work experience is a plus
  • Experience designing 3D parts in SolidWorks
  • Experience making 2D drawings in SolidWorks from 3D parts
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and multitask
  • Extremely thorough and accurate with strong attention to details Nice to have:
  • Any programming or robotics experience
  • Experience with 3D printers
  • Knowledge/Experience with plastic injection molding and tolerancing
Job Types:

$65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
