We're seeking a hands-on automation professional to support system startup, troubleshooting, robotics programming, controls integration, and customer-site commissioning. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges in industrial automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing environments. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship Experience Requirements 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, automated machinery startup, maintenance, service, or related technical work Strong PLC and HMI experience required Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls systems Knowledge of robotics, motion systems, conveyors, tooling, and vision systems Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings SolidWorks or CAD design experience preferred Working knowledge of pneumatics and industrial components Experience with structured text or similar industrial programming languages preferred Strong customer communication and independent problem-solving skills Job Duties Bring custom automated machinery into full operation after power-up Configure equipment, update control programs, and troubleshoot system performance Prepare and validate systems for factory acceptance testing Lead commissioning on smaller projects and support larger automation systems Program and tune robots, motion systems, and supporting equipment Support integration of vision systems, conveyors, tooling, and controls Assist with installation, startup, and site acceptance testing at customer locations Work with engineering, service, mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to resolve issues Provide technical feedback to support continuous improvement Ensure equipment meets performance, reliability, and timeline expectations Physical Capabilities Ability to work in industrial and manufacturing environments Ability to perform physical tasks as needed during startup, testing, and commissioning Willingness to travel approximately 25% Frequent computer-based diagnostics, troubleshooting, and equipment interaction When 4 out of 5 of the crew say they'd bring their friends on board, with us you know you're doing it right.
