Part-Time, Contract About VAC Enrichment VAC Enrichment is a nationwide leader in hands-on, project-based enrichment programs serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade. Our programs emphasize creativity, collaboration, innovation, and real-world skill development through engaging, student-centered learning experiences. Our Robotics programs introduce students to engineering, coding, robotics, and problem-solving through exciting hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and confidence in STEM learning. Position Overview We are seeking enthusiastic Robotics Instructors to lead or assist engaging, in-person robotics camps and classes for elementary and middle school students.
Educators will guide students through:
Introductory robotics and engineering concepts Coding and sequencing activities Hands-on robot challenges Collaborative problem-solving projects STEM crafts and creative building activities Instructors will use VAC-provided curriculum and robotics materials while bringing energy, creativity, and classroom leadership to each session.
Programs may include:
SmartKiddo robotics and coding activities Beginner robotics for Pre-K and elementary students Screen-free coding challenges Robot maze and obstacle course activities STEM and engineering crafts No advanced robotics experience is required for all programs—training and curriculum support are provided.

8:45 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Additional classes and schedules are available, and instructors may choose programs that best match their interests and experience. About the ProgramsElementary & Middle School Robotics Students explore robotics, engineering, and coding while programming and interacting with SmartKiddo robots. Students create programs of varying complexity that help robots move, react, and complete challenges while developing problem-solving and engineering skills in a collaborative environment. Pre-K Robotics In our beginner-friendly early childhood robotics programs, younger students are introduced to foundational coding concepts through hands-on play with Code & Go Mouse-style robots. Students use directional commands to complete playful challenges, build mini mazes, decorate robot pathways, and participate in STEM-inspired crafts that encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence. Key Responsibilities Lead or assist robotics and STEM-focused classes Guide students through coding, engineering, and robotics activities Support students in problem-solving and collaborative learning Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Adapt lessons to meet varying student skill levels Prepare materials and assist with classroom setup and cleanup Manage classroom behavior and group dynamics effectively Ensure student safety and active participation Communicate professionally with site staff and VAC leadership Complete required onboarding, training, and background checks Qualifications Experience working with children (education, camps, tutoring, childcare, etc.) Interest in robotics, STEM, coding, engineering, or hands-on learning Strong communication and classroom management skills Creative, patient, dependable, and flexible Ability to lead interactive and movement-based activities Comfortable following curriculum while adapting to student needs Must pass a background check Must have U.S. work authorization Additional Requirements Reliable transportation to assigned program locations Ability to actively engage with students throughout the day Comfortable standing, walking, and facilitating hands-on activities What We Offer Flexible summer scheduling Paid training prior to program start Robotics kits and curriculum materials provided Supportive team environment and clear expectations Opportunity to inspire creativity and STEM learning Meaningful work that pairs well with other summer commitments Preferred (Not Required) Prior experience teaching robotics or STEM programs Camp counseling or classroom teaching experience Familiarity with beginner coding concepts Experience with LEGO Robotics, VEX, SmartKiddo, or similar platforms CPR/First Aid certification Application Notes In addition to your application, please complete our
