As a System Development Engineer, you will be responsible to build and support our next generation of supplu chain planning (SCP) systems, work that includes scaling our systems to handle thousands of parts for procurement, planning and manufacturing . The System Development Engineer will design, develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize various automation solutions, while acting as a engineering leader for our internal/external engineering partner teams. Key job responsibilities
- Configure and customize the Kinaxis platform to meet the specific requirements of Amazon Robotics' supply chain and operations.
- Develop and implement complex Kinaxis workflows, business rules, and integrations to automate and optimize supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with the Kinaxis development team to extend the platform's capabilities through custom applications and extensions to drive continuous enhancements and optimizations.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure successful Kinaxis implementations and upgrades.
- Monitor Kinaxis platform performance, identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies to enhance system responsiveness, scalability, and reliability.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kinaxis functionality, integrations, and data processing.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into effective Kinaxis solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the Kinaxis platform, including functionality, workflows, and best practices.
- Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation to facilitate user adoption and self-service.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovations within the Kinaxis platform.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project sponsors.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Proven ability to integrate, configure, and customize Kinaxis Maestro across various supply chain planning functionsPreferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse certifications (Author, Administrator, Integrator, Analytics)
