  • Full-time Stetson Global is seeking qualified candidates for an exciting new role as a Field Engineer/Technician/International-Robotics and Industrial Automation. In this 40-60% traveling role, you'll be a salaried, full-time employee of our client, a global firm with projects and assets worldwide. Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Experience in field service and/or international travel is preferred.
Foreign language experience (Spanish, Arabic, Filipino / Tagalog, Hindu / Urdu, Korean, French or Portuguese) is a BIG plus! Job Description Stetson Global is seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to hire on full-time with our client, a global firm with assets and projects worldwide. These positions will support the design, installation, programming, and maintenance of robotics systems used in various manufacturing sectors or industrial automation systems used in logistics and distribution centers. This position requires 40-60% travel with all expenses paid and exciting work guaranteed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with specific experience in robotics, sensors, actuators, PLCs, conveyor systems, etc. This role involves overseeing the electrical/mechanical systems from design through implementation maintenance and training, ensuring the products meet industry standards and project requirements.
Other responsibilities may include:
  • Commissioning Planning:
    Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for installation, programming, and training.
  • System Testing:
    Conduct comprehensive, hands-on testing of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements.
  • Documentation:
    Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including test results, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
  • Coordination:
    Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure all systems are installed and functioning according to industry standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Identify and resolve issues that arise during the commissioning process.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Training:
Provide training and support to operations staff and local crews on newly commissioned systems. Lastly, candidates need to have strong verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams (Planning Teams, facilities, vendors) and provide clear, concise technical guidance to various stakeholders.
