Field Engineer/Technician-International/Robotics and Industrial Automation San Antonio, TX $110,000

- Full-time Stetson Global is seeking qualified candidates for an exciting new role as a Field Engineer/Technician/International-Robotics and Industrial Automation. In this 40-60% traveling role, you'll be a salaried, full-time employee of our client, a global firm with projects and assets worldwide. Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Experience in field service and/or international travel is preferred.
Other responsibilities may include:
Commissioning Planning:
Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for installation, programming, and training.System Testing:
Conduct comprehensive, hands-on testing of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements.Documentation:
Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including test results, deficiencies, and corrective actions.Coordination:
Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.Quality Assurance:
Ensure all systems are installed and functioning according to industry standards and best practices.Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve issues that arise during the commissioning process.Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Training:
Provide training and support to operations staff and local crews on newly commissioned systems. Lastly, candidates need to have strong verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams (Planning Teams, facilities, vendors) and provide clear, concise technical guidance to various stakeholders.
